The power transmission to Kabul and 11 other provinces of Afghanistan has been stopped since Friday morning.

Breshna, the Afghan national power company, said that the power outage occurred due to the repair of a power line from Uzbekistan.

The Breshna company has announced that the electricity transmission will be restored by Friday evening.

Breshna has confirmed that the provinces of Kabul, Parwan, Kapisa, Panjshir, Nangarhar, Laghman, Logar, Paktia, Khost, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, and some areas of Baghlan will face electricity blackouts on Friday.
