The Taliban's National Standards Authority announced that it has returned 26 tankers of "poor quality" fuel to Iran, due to quality issues. According to Taliban officials, these fuel tankers had entered Afghanistan through Nimroz border from Iran.

The Taliban has asked Afghan traders not to import low-quality fuel into Afghanistan.
