The National Resistance Front (NRF) announced that its forces launched an RPG attack against a Taliban outpost situated along the Takhar-Badakhshan highway on Friday night, resulting in one Taliban fighter's death and injuries to two others.

The assault targeted an outpost in the Aqplaq area of the Kalafgan district, which was reportedly engulfed in flames during the operation, leading to the destruction of a Taliban vehicle.

There has been no response from the Taliban regarding the incident.
