The National Resistance Front (NRF) announced that around 8 pm last night, its forces attacked a Taliban checkpoint in the 17th police district of Kabul city, killing two Taliban members and injuring three others.

The front reported no casualties among its forces in this operation.

Taliban officials have not yet commented on the matter.

However, the NRF, led by Ahmad Massoud, stated, "We carry out targeted operations in various areas of Afghanistan to eliminate the oppression and crimes of the terrorist Taliban group."

In another statement, the front called on all anti-Taliban forces to unite and rise against the group.
