Achieving Objectives In Iran Will Take Time, Says US Military Chief

Mar 2, 2026, 16:13 GMT+0

Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said achieving military objectives in Iran would take time.

Speaking at a news conference on Monday, Caine said additional US casualties were expected, though efforts would be made to minimise them.

He added that the military objectives assigned to United States Central Command and joint forces would require time to accomplish and, in some cases, would involve difficult and demanding work.
