Local sources told Afghanistan International on Thursday that cholera has spread across Shah Walikot district of Kandahar province, and up to 74 people have been infected with it.Reports of the first case came in from various districts of Helmand and Zabul province. In Helmand, 590 people have been infected with cholera, of which 20 have died.Nearly 400 people, mostly children, have been infected with cholera in Shahr-e-Safa, Shahjoy and Day Chopan districts of Zabul province.
