Civilian Shot Dead by Taliban Officials in Panjshir, Claim Local Sources

Taliban members shot dead Khalil ur Rahman, a resident of Dare Abdullah Khel in Panjshir province, on Sunday night, according to local sources. Rahman was among the 30 civilians who had been arrested on the accusation of having ties with the National Resistance Front.

According to the sources, 29 civilians had been released after their detention and interrogation, however, Khalil ur Rahman was shot dead by the Taliban members at around 11pm near his house in Dare Abdullah Khel.

The Taliban has not yet commented on the death of this civilian.
