UNAMA Head Visits Badakhshan
Markus Potzel, acting head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) travelled to Faizabad of Badakhshan “in order to take stock of situation on the ground”.
UNAMA in a tweet said that Potzel met with a wide range of interlocutors including de facto authorities, tribal elders, civil society representatives, women and journalists.
