Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Publishes Cost of US War in Afghanistan

Zhao Lijian, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, has published the casualties of the US war in Afghanistan.

Lijian in a tweet stated that 51,000 civilians, 69,000 Afghan security forces, and 2,448 American soldiers died due to the US war in Afghanistan.

Lijian also stressed that due to this war, at least five million Afghans have migrated around the world.

According to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, the source of his data was Brown University, Harvard Kennedy School, and the United Nations.
