New Aid Package of $40 Million Reaches Kabul
The Taliban-controlled Central Bank of Afghanistan announced on Tuesday that another package of 40 million dollars in humanitarian aid reached Kabul. The bank reiterated its call for more interaction and cooperation of the international community.
Last week, the central bank had received a package of 40 million dollars as well.
These funds are provided to the Taliban while human rights organisations have repeatedly emphasised that the donated funds should not be channelled directly to the group.
