Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said that 40 members of the National Resistance Front (NRF) have been killed, and 101 others have been captured in Rukha, Dara and Afshar districts of Panjshir province.

Mujahid added that Fahim Commando, Jawad and Mohammad Yar were among the dead NRF commanders.

Mujahid added on Tuesday evening that these people had been killed and captured during a clearance operation by the Taliban forces in the three districts.

National Resistance Front has not yet reacted to this news.

On Monday, a video of eight members of the NRF, who had been captured by the Taliban and then killed in cold-blood, was published on social networks.

Recently, the spokesperson of the National Resistance Front said that a large-scale operation contained the Taliban in Panjshir and caused heavy casualties to this group.
