Kabul Receives Yet Another 40 Million Dollars Aid Package

Tuesday, 11/29/2022

The Taliban-controlled central bank of Afghanistan announced on Tuesday that it has received another cash package of 40 million US dollars.

According to the bank, the package has been received as part of "humanitarian aid" and has been deposited to a private bank.

The Taliban-controlled central bank regularly announces at least once or twice a week of the receipt of millions of dollars in the name of humanitarian aid.

Many observers have continuously criticised the international community and said that it should not send its humanitarian assistance to the Taliban.

The international community which has not recognised the Taliban government in Afghanistan, has continuously emphasised that it provides aid to Afghanistan through international organisations, such as the United Nations.
