Former Afghan vice-president, Amrullah Saleh, said that there is no mention of Taliban’s atrocities in the report of the US government about withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Saleh said that in the report, there has been no expression of regret for the destruction of Afghan society.

On Saturday, the former vice-president of Afghanistan also said that the United States had to withdraw from Afghanistan to support Ukraine and that Afghanistan was no longer important to Washington.

The former Afghan official has called the report of the US Department of State "lies and deception".

Saleh also stated that the US at that time "kept the Afghan government in the dark and violated any verbal or written commitment to the government”.

This week, the White House released a report on the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan and blamed former US president Donald Trump for the chaotic withdrawal from the country.

The White House had said it had provided the original report to the US Congress and that the classified version of the report would not be released to the public.
