Iran’s Foreign Minister to Attend OIC Meet In Türkiye On Iran-Israel Conflict

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is set to attend the 51st extraordinary meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers, scheduled to begin on Saturday in Istanbul.
The two-day summit will focus on the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel. The source added that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is expected to call on Muslim countries to unite against what he described as “destabilising actions” across the region.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is also due to address the conference.
Türkiye has strongly condemned Israel’s recent military actions, labelling them illegal, and has defended Iran’s right to respond in self-defence. Ankara has repeatedly urged restraint from all parties while pushing for a coordinated response from the Muslim world.
