Afghan Resistance Council Calls For United Anti-Taliban Front in Afghanistan

On the second anniversary of the Taliban's control over Kabul, the National Resistance Council for Salvation of Afghanistan, called for the formation of a united front to fight against the "tyranny and oppression of the Taliban".
Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) has too said that it will continue the armed resistance against the Taliban until the liberation of the country.
In a statement, referring to the behaviour of the Taliban over the past two years, especially the severe restrictions on women, the National Resistance Council for Salvation of Afghanistan said that unilateral engagement with the Taliban is against the will and interests of the Afghan people.
The council asked different countries "not to ignore the right of the people of [Afghanistan] and respect it”.
This council considered Afghanistan under the control of the Taliban as the center where there will be growth and re-emergence of terrorist groups and warned the international community about being indifferent to it.
The council also said that the Doha agreement has been "the main bedrock for the current pathetic situation" and should not be the focus of future political equations.
AFF, one of the active groups which reports of attacks against the Taliban, stated that the Taliban has imposed severe restrictions on Afghan women, displaced people forcefully from their homes and regions, and killed members of the security forces of the previous Afghan government.
"Now, the question is, by what criteria and mechanism is it possible to end the usurping rule of the barbaric and criminal Taliban group, except for justified defence and armed resistance,” the front asked.
