US Suspends Processing Of All Afghan Immigration Cases

The United States immigration authority has announced an immediate halt to the processing of all immigration applications submitted by Afghan nationals.

The agency said the suspension will remain in place while additional security protocols and background checks are carried out.

It stressed that ensuring the safety and security of the country and its citizens remains its primary priority.
