Inviting Iran’s Foreign Minister To Davos Is Like Inviting Hitler, Says Graham
US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham criticised the invitation of Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, comparing it to inviting Adolf Hitler to an international event.
In a post on the social media platform X, Graham addressed the organisers of the Davos meeting, writing: “what the hell are you thinking? I cannot think of a worse message to send to the protestors.”
He added that “European elites have lost their moral compass,” describing the invitation as one of the clearest signs yet of moral decline. “People who enjoy freedom and abandoning those who are struggling for it,” Graham said.
