Jan 7, 2023, 10:50 GMT+0Updated: 14:45 GMT+0

United Nations Deputy Envoy in Kabul, Markus Potzel, called for the urgent lifting of the ban on women’s education. United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) announced that Afghanistan has entered a new period of crisis.

Potzel met with Ned Mohammad Nadim, the Taliban’s minister of higher education in Kabul.

UNAMA stressed that the Taliban ban on education for women and even stopping them from working for aid agencies will harm all Afghans.

The Taliban recently banned girls from attending universities and other higher education institutions. This decision has faced widespread national and international criticism.

In response to the publication of Prince Harry's book, Anas Haqqani, a senior member of the Taliban, said that among the perpetrators of the killers of Afghans, many do not have the decency like Harry to confess their war crimes.

Manawi questioned the Chinese and asked them what legal guarantees the Chinese have when there is no standard legal system and courts in Afghanistan.
