Pakistan has started an operation against Tehrik-e Taliban (TTP) Pakistan in Afghanistan, claimed Rahmatullah Nabil, former Afghan intelligence chief.
Nabil stressed that the Taliban defense minister had not been consulted regarding the operation, or has been pretending that the group is independent.
Nabil reacted on Twitter to the latest comments of the Taliban's acting defense minister Mullah Yaqoob in Kabul on Sunday, who said that American drones enter Afghanistan soil from Pakistan. He had asked Pakistan not to allow its airspace to be used against Afghanistan.
However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan quickly reacted to Yaqoob’s statements and called it "very unfortunate" and said that it "defies the norms of responsible diplomatic conduct".
Pakistan Foreign Ministry urged the Taliban to ensure the fulfillment of international commitments made by Afghanistan and not to allow the use of its territory for terrorism against any country.

However, the owner of a company who spoke to Afghanistan International, accused the Taliban’s Acting Minister of Transportation and Aviation of double standards and claimed that the minister has not been cooperating with the owners. He claimed that the Taliban's transportation minister might probably benefit financially from this takeover.
In a video clip obtained by Afghanistan International, it can be seen that the Taliban members are taking over the companies and forging the official documents.
These private companies had been operating in Kabul, Kandahar, Mazar-i-Sharif, Nangarhar and Khost cities.
