Local sources reported an explosion in the exchange market of Jalalabad city of Nangarhar province, on Tuesday. Sources said that around 10 were injured in the explosion and have been transferred to the provincial hospital.
Earlier on Sunday, another explosion was reported in the central Gurudwara of Jalalabad city.
Local sources reported that the Taliban arrested YouTuber Salahshor Kamrak, and his colleagues in western Kabul. The Taliban raided Kamrak's residence in Dawazda Imam township in District 13 of Kabul and detained the YouTuber and his colleagues.
According to the sources, during the arbitrary detention of Kamrak, the Taliban violently mistreated him and transferred him to an unknown location.
Salahshor Kamrak is a resident of Jaghori district of Ghazni province, who had moved to Kabul recently.
Before his detention, Kamrak had published social media vlogs on a YouTube channel called Manji Studio.
Mohammad Asef Waziri, the spokesperson of Taliban police in Balkh province announced that 7 people have been killed and 6 others have been injured in the explosion in Mazar-e-Sharif city. Waziri added that took place in District 3 of the city and targeted government employees.
However, some sources said that the number of victims of the explosion is higher than what the Taliban has announced.
Waziri stressed that the explosion happened when the employees of the Department of Oil and Gas of Balkh crossed the area.
According to Waziri, a roadside mine was placed on the side of the street and targeted the Taliban employees.
The Taliban’s ministry of education will hold an exam for Afghan girls of the 12th grade on Wednesday. Sources said that the exam will be similar to the university entrance exam, but the questions will be chosen from 12th-grade subjects.
The new development with schoolgirls in 12th grade happens as the Taliban has closed schools for girls in secondary and higher education since August 2021.
Afghanistan International sources said that female students have been asked to contact their schools on Monday to register for the exam along with a photograph, ID card, and 600 Afghanis fees.
A teacher from Kabul said that students have been asked to show up in schools with the strict hijab required by the Taliban, otherwise they will not be allowed to take the exam.
After entering Kabul on August 15, 2021, the Taliban prevented the reopening of girls' schools in Afghanistan.
In the past 440 days, this group refused to accept domestic and international requests to open the gates of girls' schools.
The students in 12th grade are asked to attend the exam, while they have not been able to study the 12th grade or attend classes in the past one year in Afghanistan.
After over two months in Taliban detention, the group has handed over the dead bodies of a tribal elder and his son to their families in Ghor province. Ahmad Khan and his son Sharafuddin Rasouli had been arrested in Firozkoh city of Ghor about 70 days ago by the Taliban.
The family of the two said that they had no access to them when they were in detention and Taliban had told them that they had arrested Khan and Rasouli on the "orders of the Taliban leaders".
Rasouli's family told Afghanistan International on Saturday, that they were not allowed to visit or contact their detained family members.
According to this family, they contacted several different provincial offices of the Taliban often, but the group didn’t respond to their queries about the fate of the tribal elder and his son.

The Taliban have not yet commented on the killing or arrest of the tribal elder and his son in Ghor province.
Taliban spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, announced that Friday's attack on the Pakistani embassy in Kabul has been carried out by a foreign citizen ISIS member, in collusion with the "insurgents". Mujahid added that the attacker has been arrested.
However, he didn’t elaborate more on Islamic State’s collusion with the insurgents.
Mujahid stressed that there are circles that are trying to ruin relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack on the Pakistani embassy.
Earlier, the Taliban announced that they had arrested a suspect from a building near the Pakistani embassy.
Sources told Afghanistan International that a security guard at the Pakistani embassy in Kabul was injured in the attack.
The Taliban insists that Afghanistan is stable, and the ISIS group does not have a physical presence in the country. But after the Taliban’s return to power in 2021, ISIS has taken responsibility for the deadliest attacks in Afghanistan.
