According to Talkwalker, a website for social media analytics, the hashtag #StopHazaraGenocide has crossed six million tweets. According to the data, the hashtag has been tweeted 6.04 million times.

A week after the deadly suicide attack in Kabul, Rahe Danishgah Educational Center has shut down its operations due to security threats. Yousuf Dehzad, director of Rahe Danishgah Educational Center confirmed to Afghanistan International that they will no longer operate in Kabul.

Based on Taliban’s orders, forced displacement of 400 families has started in Mohajer Qeshlaq village of Khwaja Bahauddin district of Takhar province, said several local residents. The Taliban officials have given the residents of the village three days to evacuate village.

The Taliban’s Ministry of Defense announced that firefighting teams of the ministry have contained the fire at the Zadran shopping mall. Fire engulfed the major shopping mall in western Kabul on Wednesday and the Taliban have not given further details about causes of the fire.

At least two people have been injured in a roadside explosion in Bagh-e-Bala area of Kabul city. According to witnesses from the site of the explosion, a mine had been placed inside a flowerpot on the side of the street, which then, exploded and two pedestrians got injured.

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has announced that the number of casualties in the attack at the Kaj educational center in Kabul has increased to 53 killed of which 46 are girls. According to UNAMA, the number of injured people has increased to 110.

A Twitter campaign started with the hashtag "#StopHazaraGenocide" has been tweeted more than a million times on the micro-blogging site. The campaign had been started by Hazara rights activists after a suicide attack on an educational center on September 30 in western Kabul.

Taliban announced on Monday that the group has shut down the websites of Hasht-e-Sobh daily and Zawia News in Afghanistan on charges of what they called “spreading false propaganda”. The two media platforms had been active on domain names registered in Afghanistan.

Several girls and women protested in Mazar-i-Sharif city on Monday against the genocide of Hazara Shia community members. These female protesters marched on the streets despite the Taliban’s efforts to prevent the protest through the presence of heavily-armed fighters.
