The Taliban’s Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that the reconstruction and repair work of the Bagram airfield has started. The ministry said on Twitter that a technical team of the Taliban forces will work on the repair and use of the Bagram airfield.

Taliban’s newly-appointed Minister of Education, Mawlawi Habibullah Agha has not received a formal education, said a senior Taliban official. The official said that Agha's appointment is a "setback" to the efforts of some Taliban leaders to reopen girls' schools in Afghanistan.
Somaya Faruqi, head of the Afghan Girls Robotics Team, urged world leaders to prevent Afghanistan from becoming a graveyard for girls’ dreams. Faruqi, who addressed the UN General Assembly on Sunday, added that the Taliban have closed schools for millions of Afghan girls.
Local sources from western Kabul reported that the Police District (PD) 18 of the Taliban stopped operations of all the cafes in the Dashte Barchi area on Sunday. The sources confirmed that during the sealing of these cafes, Taliban members beat up the customers too.
A group of Afghan women supported the Iranian people's protests and said that soon "the rule of brothers, fathers, and husbands will end”. These women added that they have suffered the same pain which Iranian women are going through.

The Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi said that Afghan drug trafficker Bashir Noorzai, had been released in a prisoner swap. Muttaqi added that Noorzai had been released in exchange for Mark Frerichs, who had been kept as a hostage by the Taliban.
Bashir Noorzai, an Afghan drug trafficker and one of the first financiers of the Taliban group, has been released from Guantanamo prison. Sources close to the Taliban said that Noorzai had arrived in Kabul on Monday morning.
Taliban Ministry of Defense rejected reports which stated that Mullah Abdul Qayyum Zakir has been injured in the latest clashes in Panjshir province. Earlier, some sources had claimed that Zakir had been injured in the Panjshir war and had been taken to Kabul for treatment.
Three members of the Taliban have been killed and two others have been wounded in an ambush by the Islamic State-Khurasan (IS-K) in Kunar province, sources said. According to the sources, the ambush took place in Diwagul area of Chawkay district.

Anatoly Sidorov, head of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Joint Staff, said that hundreds of ISIS fighters have been transferred to northern Afghanistan. Sidorov stated that the fighters have been deployed in Jawzjan, Kunduz, Takhar, and Badakhshan provinces.
